Please take an interest in the aesthetic intrusion in addition to the traffic, noise, dust, water and odor, versus the possible economic benefits: 20 steady jobs, truck drivers, crane operators in the sand pits, rail personnel and the real money, out sourced to Canada and the oil industry, a rapidly diminishing energy resource.
The city council has prohibited citizens living outside the limits of the city from testifying at the council meetings. Make your voices heard!
